Today is an exciting day. I published my first novel, The Great Beeshee, on Amazon KDP and it can be purchased now in paperback or digital form!

I had a blast writing this fantasy/adventure book and I'm excited to share it with you. It's fast-paced and action-packed. Although it's aimed at middle schoolers who might enjoy the Magic Treehouse series, I believe anyone can enjoy it. It's less than 100 pages, with short chapters, but none shy of a full-length story. The illustrations were hand-drawn by artist Aaron Harman. He did a phenomenal job!

This story's inspiration came from a prank my older sister, Amber, played on me as a kid. I'll never forget when she ran into the house one summer day when I was eight, claiming she had discovered something "incredible." Boy, was I disappointed to learn that the "ancient artifacts" she found had been crafted by none other than her. As an adult, it got me thinking—what if her silly prank had caused something unintended to happen, something magical? That's what this book is about. I hope you enjoy it!

The Story: After a sibling prank goes wrong, a skill-less warrior named Beeshee is resurrected. Sean and Kai, two step-siblings still getting used to each other, are suddenly thrust into an unforgettable adventure. Together, they must help the bumbling warrior rescue his family from a bloodthirsty giant and return to his own time—rewriting his once tragic tale with a new, brighter ending.

The Great Beeshee is a fun and heartwarming book for all ages!

Excerpt from Chapter 7:

"No!” I screech.

Beeshee desperately grabs a handful of leaves and sticks and flings them at the giant. But a brutal club swing thuds against Beeshee’s bony shoulder. He crumbles, toppling down the hill through the scattering leaves.

The giant beats its chest in triumph. It bellows another deep war call from the pit of its belly. Its face morphs into a hideous, crooked grin.

Anger surges within me seeing Beeshee so helpless.

Be brave.

Kai’s words race through my mind. I find myself inching toward the giant, the bark of my stick fraying under my white-knuckled grip.

I grit my teeth. My stick feels slick under my sweating palms. “Beeshee!” I shout, bursting toward him in a full sprint.

I don’t know what I am going to do, but I have to help!
